TACE About us

Tower Hill is one in a number of healthcare buildings within the St Helens, Halton, Knowsley and Warrington areas. The sustainable success Tower Hill has had is down to some simple engineering and architecture.
The building owes it performance to the energy efficient ventilation system and proportions of thermal mass, which allows the heating system to operate only when the buildings stable temperature drops below its designated set points.
The orientation was a crucial step to reduce mechanical cooling whilst the building element constructions improve on L2 standards.

TACE News

Not only has the building achieved its primary objective, to provide an increased level of health care within the Knowsley area, it is considered to be a low energy consuming building. Some have even compared it to the Plowright Surgery in Swaffham, a benchmark in healthcare.
From recent accurate data obtained from the building management system, it has been calculated that the building out performs Plowright on a GJ/100m³/yr analysis when compared on the same operating hours.
