A new surgical unit at Blackpool Victoria Hospital was designed to provide a centralised surgical unit in one 900m2 facility.
The new state of the art centre provides 10 state of the art operating theatres with the latest modern technology in one purpose built unit replacing outdated theatre stock which was spread across the hospital site.
The unit now provides 10 theatres, outpatient/day case facilities and 94 inpatient beds.
TACE were responsible for the concept design of the outpatient/day care and multi-storey car park.
