The Great Harwood Health Centre was one of two schemes commissioned by NHS Property Services that TACE worked on for Eric Wright (Colne Health Centre being the other).
Residents of Great Harwood are now benefiting from the purpose-built centre that houses 3 GP practices, podiatry services, speech and language therapy facilities, a pharmacy, multi-use consultation room and examination rooms.
Prior to this scheme the towns healthcare services were provided out of a small building they had long since outgrown. Patients & staff alike are now enjoying the much improved, larger facility.
TACE delivered various sustainable aspects to the project including photovoltaic panels and solar hot water, all of which contributed to the centre’s ‘Excellent’ BREEAM rating.
