Warrington Borough Council together with Warrington Primary Care Trust transformed what used to be a landfill site into a hub of health, leisure and education facilities.

The Orford Jubilee Park has the capability to cater to more than 8000 patients, cover 3 GP practices and provide specialist services including mental health clinics and healthy living services.

Alongside these healthcare amenities there is also a leisure centre, creche and a library with ICT facilities.

The design on the scheme enables the client to achieve 10% of their energy used via renewable sources and the site was rated BREEAM ‘Excellent’.
