Stepping Outside: Contollo Colleagues Come Together

Colleagues from across the Contollo Group recently swapped their desks and meeting rooms for walking boots, fresh air and some impressive countryside views.

Teams came together for group walks in the Peak District and the Buckinghamshire countryside, providing an opportunity to spend time with colleagues away from the usual working environment.

With slightly cooler weather making the conditions ideal for walking, the groups were able to enjoy their surroundings, catch up with one another and build stronger relationships between colleagues from across Contollo’s different offices and businesses.

As Contollo continues to grow, creating opportunities for colleagues to connect across the Group remains incredibly important.

Informal events such as these give team members the chance to speak with people they may not work alongside every day, learn more about different areas of the business and strengthen relationships between teams.

The countryside provided an ideal backdrop for the day, with colleagues taking in the views and enjoying some welcome time outdoors.

A few four-legged friends also joined the walks, adding to the relaxed and sociable atmosphere.

After completing the routes, the groups finished the day with a well-earned visit to the pub. It was a chance to rest, recharge and continue the conversations started along the way.

The day brought together colleagues from businesses across the Contollo Group, including Abacus Cost Management, KAM Project Consultants, TACE, MBA Consulting Engineers and ESP Limited.

Each business brings its own specialist knowledge and experience to the Group. Creating opportunities for colleagues to meet and form stronger relationships helps support greater collaboration across the organisation.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the walks such an enjoyable occasion.

We look forward to creating many more opportunities for colleagues from across Contollo to come together, strengthen relationships and enjoy some time away from the office.
