Aintree University Hospital is a large teaching hospital in Liverpool providing a wide range of acute specialties.
This scheme involved the refurbishment and development of several of the hospitals buildings over a number of years.
So far the project has seen the development of a brand new urgent care centre and the refurbishment of several surgical wards to create more welcoming treatment areas.
These upgrades are the first fundamental redesigns the hospital has seen since its opening in 1960 and aim to not only improve its facilities for patients, but make several upgrades to the sustainability and efficiency of the buildings.
To achieve this goal TACE have implemented energy efficient lighting systems with automatic dimming functions and highly efficient heating systems.
TACE were also responsible for site wide infrastructure and master planning with the architect.
