Extension works at Leighton Primary School created two new single storey classrooms to replace two existing dilapidated mobile classrooms on site.
One of the mobile classrooms was being used as a Year 1 and SEN teaching space whilst the other had been decommissioned from teaching and was just being used as storage. A new Year 1 classroom, a shared practical space and a new SEN room were all constructed within the existing footprint of the school.
The removal of the second mobile allowed for the existing playground to be extended.
