Set in the newly extended and refurbished Scandinavian Hotel on the edge of Liverpool’s Chinatown, The Arch now provides 241 student accommodation units.
The Arch (named after the Chinese arch just up the road) features a mixture of cluster rooms and studio flats spread across 4 floors with 12,000 sq ft of retail space on the ground floor.
The original 19th Century facade of the old hotel was retained in order to keep the character and history of the original building.
Conscientious design throughout the development has meant that the new building was able to achieve a ‘B’ EPC rating and reduce its carbon emissions by 10%.
